Message from the Chairman

Dear members,

The Coastguard Association is a charity devoted to helping Coastguards, past and present, who are suffering hardship as a result of an injury or illness. We are particularly aware of the need to help those Coastguards and their dependents who have suffered as a result of assisting those in peril, at sea and on the  shore.

The virtue of the Association is never more apparent than in this economic climate. Over the years since the Association was formed, we have been able to help many colleagues and their dependents and with your help we can continue with our good work.

May I express a personal thank you to all of you who voluntarily organise fund raising events. Without your input the charity could not operate.

We have a charity that we can be proud off and it is so important for each member to spread the news of our work.

On behalf of myself and the National Committee I wish you and your families good fortune.
